The past Ohio State golfer and Upper Arlington native Jack Nicklaus serve as voluntary host of the tournament.
The Initially 6 years the tournament was exclusive in that it welcomed the best players to battle. Amateurs won 2 of the 6 tournaments.
It is part of the Web Tour Finals since 2013 and the field includes world’s elite 75 players from the web tour and from the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup points list top ranked 126 to 200 players at the begin of the Finals. Last year this event prize money was $1,000,000 and Winner's share with a $180,000.
