History

The inaugural event of the Ras Al Khaimah championship was held at the Al Hamra golf club in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, and was won by Nikolai Hojgaard, a Danish golf player. It was a new tournament included in the Europen Tour 2022, also known as the DP Tour, due to sponsorship reasons.
