The Hero cup is a professional men's golf tournament that will be played between two teams one team represents Great Britain and Ireland, while the other team will represent Continental Europe. The Hero cup 2024 is the tournament's inaugural season, but it's similar to the Seve Trophy last held in 2013.

Hero cup 2024 format

The hero cup tournament is played in 3 sessions:

1: Foursomes
Foursomes of alternate shots is a playing format that is played in pairs.

2: Fourball
Fourball is a playing format in golf that involves 4 players.

3: Single match
After above mentioned two sessions a single final match is played between 2 players.

All 20 players will take part in each session, and after all three rounds, the winner is determined using the pointing system.

Prize money
Prize money of €2,000,000 is allocated for the hero cup 2024.
