Joburg Open Golf Live Online

The South African Professional Golf Tournament announced that the Joburg Open come back to the Sunshine Tour and European Tour schedules in November, thus restoring the status of international golf after being locked, which greatly promoted the development of South Africa.

Joburg Open 2020 will be held at the Randpark Golf Club with the support of the City of Johannesburg from November 19 to 22, with a prize of R19.5 million.

It will be the first international men’s golf tournament to be held on South African fairways in nine months, and with the arrival of the Covid-19 ban, the South Africa economy will get a timely boost.
This will also be the first in a series of events jointly approved by the Sunshine Tour and the European Tour this summer, and further announcements will be made.

The Joburg Open last tournament was held in 2017. The City of Johannesburg agreed to support the Sunshine Tour and incorporate this event into the South African Open Championship until the latter is held in Johannesburg.

The event first kicked off in 2007 and has an impressive series of past champions, including major champion Charles Schwartzel and multiple European Tour champions Branden Grace, George Coetzee, Andy Sullivan, and Darren Fichardt. The last tournament was held in 2017 which was won by the Indian Shubhankar Sharma's.
