2020 LPGA Tour Fixture
The LPGA Tour 2020 Schedule has been announced on Friday and it will feature thirty-three official tournaments that will play 11 nations and regions. This season LPGA Tour Schedule includes two new events, The Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio, the Pelican Women’s Championship. This season the Blue Bay LPGA return on the 2020 LPGA Schedule, the tournament was not played in 2019 because of its move from the late fall to the spring.
Furthermore, the 2020 UL International Crown Team Tournament will play in England. The Thornberry Creek LPGA and Indy Women in Tech Championship that played in 2019 are not coming back in 2020.
The Tokyo Olympics 2020 were a factor in setting the schedule, A two-week break begins after the Evian championship which ends on 26 July 2020. On 5th August the first Olympics round will be played and Olympic Games closing ceremony will take place on 9 August 2020. After the ending Olympic tournament will start on 13 August 2020 with the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open.
It is a 71st edition of the LPGA Tour and the first time in the LPGA history the world’s top golf female players will battle for the joint prize money of $75.1 million. The tournament will start from 16-19 January 2020 at the Four Season Golf Club in Lake Buena Vista, Florida and will conclude at the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida on 22 November 2020.
