The PGA Tour Zurich Classic of New Orleans 2023 premier golf event will start from the 20th to the 23rd of April 2023. Zurich Classic of New Orleans 2023 will happen at TPC Louisiana, Avondale, La. Eighty-Three years ago the tournament returned to 1938, and since 1958 is held every year, commonly it is played at the start to mid-spring. The main sponsor of the event is a Zurich Insurance Group, and it is organized by the Fore! Kids Foundation. Past champions of this tournament were Cameron Smith, Jack Nicklaus, Byron Nelson, David Toms, Davis Love III, and Vijay Singh.

In 2016 the prize money of the event was $7.0 million and the winner’s share of $1.26 million. In 1965 the first prize increased to five figures, in 1988 six figures and in 2006 approved the million dollars.

The Zurich Classic became a team tournament in 2017 with 80 teams of two, featuring a number of high-status players. This season few of the teams will take part such as Scott Piercy and Billy Herschel as well as Sergio Garcia/Tommy Fleetwood and Jason Day/Adam Scott.
