The Sentry Tournament of Champions 2021 is a first golf tournament on the PGA Tour 2021 schedule. In 2018 season the event called as the Sentry Tournament of Champions because of sponsorship. Previously this tournament was sponsored by the SBS, Hyundai, and Mercedes-Benz. In this competition around 35 golf players will participate, if any player failed to win, so the player is not eligible to get the position again in the field. Since 1999 the PGA Tour Sentry Tournament of Champions held on The Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort in Kapalua, Hawaii. From 1953 to 1968 the event was played at Desert Inn Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada and Stardust Country Club. Moreover, it was played at La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California for thirty years, in 1985 it shifted from May to January 1986.
