Constellation Senior Players Championship 2018

The Senior Players Championship 2018 is also called as the Constellation Senior Players Championship because of sponsorship. It marks the 5th major championships on the Champions Tour calendar, in this event 78 top Champions players competing for the win to secure their place at The Players Championship. It will be taking place from 12 July to 15 July 2018 at Caves Valley Golf Club, Owings Mills, Maryland. In 1983 the first event was held and the lower age limit is 50. The champion gets the chance to play in the following season's Players Championship on the PGA Tour.

Since 1992 the Constellation Senior Players Championship has increased more than $11 million for charity. The WGA-supported Evans Scholars Foundation has been chosen as a main recipient of the Constellation Senior Players Championship 2018.

The other Championships were not recognized as a major by the European Senior Tour and nor a part of that tour, including the Senior British Open, the U.S. Senior Open, and the Senior PGA Championship.
