The Champions Tour American Family Insurance Championship will begin from 9th June to 11th June 2024. The American Family Insurance Championship golf event will take place at the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison. In 2016 the first edition was played and the tournament field consisted of 81 players and the total prize money was $2 million.

The American Family Insurance approved the agreement for three years. In 2016 Steve Stricker served as competition host, and in 2017 he hosted the game as a player when he turns fifty, he was qualified to play. Proceeds increased will help Steve Stricker the American Family Children's Hospital, The First Tee of South Central Wisconsin, and the American Family Insurance Foundation.
